Job Summary:
We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Washing & Ironing Assistant to handle laundry tasks efficiently and maintain high-quality standards. The ideal candidate will be skilled in washing, drying, folding, and ironing a variety of fabrics while ensuring garments are cared for properly.
Key Responsibilities:

Sort clothes and linens by color, fabric type, and washing requirements.

Operate washing machines, dryers, and ironing equipment safely and effectively.

Remove stains using appropriate cleaning agents and techniques.

Iron, steam, and press garments and linens to a high-quality finish.

Fold, organize, and prepare cleaned items for delivery or storage.

Follow garment care labels to prevent damage or shrinkage.

Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area and equipment.

Track and manage laundry loads to meet daily targets.

Report any damaged items or equipment issues to supervisors.
Requirements:

Experience in laundry work (washing, ironing, or garment care) preferred.

Knowledge of different fabrics and ironing/washing techniques.

Good physical stamina; ability to stand for long periods.
